For the second time this week, the Kalamazoo Wings will head into the Danbury Ice Arena to battle the Danbury Trashers. The K-Wings are a perfect 2-0-0 against the Trashers this season, including a 4-0 victory last Wednesday. Kalamazoo has outscored Danbury 10-1 in their two previous games.
The K-Wings have won three straight games, including two in a row on the road. Kalamazoo enters the game in a first place tie with the Muskegon Fury for the top spot in the Central Division. The K-Wings are led by Tyler Rennette, who leads Kalamazoo with 37 points; Rennette is also on a five-game point streak.
After having their three-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday against Kalamazoo, Danbury got back to their winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Roanoke Valley last night. This is the final game of a five-game home stand for Danbury, who is 3-1-0 currently on the home stand.
