For the final time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Port Huron Beacons. Besides being their last game against the Beacons, tonight is also the final time in the regular season that the K-Wings will play a divisional game.

Kalamazoo will be chasing history tonight. The K-Wings, who enter the game on a seven-game road winning streak, need a victory tonight to reestablish the franchise's UHL record for consecutive road wins. Besides the road streak, the K-Wings are also on a four game winning streak and are unbeaten in regulation in their last 6 games (5-0-1).

With their loss to Kalamazoo on Wednesday, the Port Huron is now 0-7-0 against their intra-state rivals. Besides looking for their first win of the season against the K-Wings, the Beacons are hoping to end their 10-game winless streak. Port Huron enters the game 0-9-1 in the their last 10 games, which includes two losses to Kalamazoo.

For the second consecutive season the Kalamazoo Wings will be playoff bound. The K-Wings clinched the postseason birth with their victory over Port Huron on Wednesday, coupled with the Flint Generals loss the Motor City Mechanics on the same day.

Tonight is the last chance for the Kalamazoo Wings to play a team from their own division. The K-Wings, who are a perfect 7-0-0 against the Beacons, are 17-11-1 against teams from the Central.
