The K-Wings will say good-bye to their six game road swing tonight, as they play the Richmond RiverDogs. Lifetime, the K-Wings are undefeated against the ‘Dogs with a record of 5-0-0, including two victories at the Richmond Coliseum.

The K-Wings ended their three game winless streak last night with a 5-4 shootout win at Adirondack. Kalamazoo is 2-2-1 on their current road swing and tonight's game will decided whether or not the K-Wings will end their road trip above the 500 mark. Three K-Wings players bring multiple scoring streaks into the game. Sean Starke has scored a goal in each of the K-Wings past four games, while David Struch and Yannick Carpentier both have registered a point in each of their last three games.

Richmond has saved their best hockey for home. The RiverDogs are 6-3-1 at the Richmond Coliseum this season. Tonight's game against Kalamazoo will start a brief two game home stand for the ‘Dogs. Starting next Friday, Richmond will hit the road for seven straight games, which will include a visit to Wings Stadium to battle the K-Wings on Wednesday, December 15th.

Three K-Wings come into tonight's game on scoring streaks. Sean Starke is on a four game goal and scoring streak, while David Struch and Yannick Carpentier have registered a point in each of their last three games. Starke has also scored five goals in his last six games.

End of the Road

The K-Wings will conclude their six game road swing tonight in Richmond. So far on the trip the K-Wings are 2-2-1. Kalamazoo will return back to Wings Stadium this Wednesday when they host the Flint Generals.

Shootout Galore

After having just one shootout in their first sixteen games, the K-Wings have played in two consecutive shootouts. On the season the K-Wings are 2-1 in the extra session.

Determining After the First

The K-Wings have usually found a way to win when they lead after the first period. Kalamazoo is 3-0-1 this season when they lead after the opening twenty minutes of play.
