Quad City Suffers Worst Loss of Season  Moline, IL-The Mallards allowed three unanswered first period goals on their way to a 6-1 loss to Rockford on Sunday at The MARK. A crowd of 4,830 watched as Quad City suffered their worst loss of 2004-05. The defeat also marks the Mallards first home regulation loss of 2004-05. The Mallards are 10-9-2 on the season including a 7-1-2 record at The MARK.  Olivier Proulx, Kevin Klein and Vince Malts scored in the first to stake the Hogs to a 3-0 lead. Paul Cabana scored the Mallards lone goal on a power play at the 1:33 mark of the second. Cabana's third goal in the team's last three games cut the Hog lead to two goals, but the Mallards never got closer.  Kevin Klein added his second marker of the game with a shorthanded goal at 14:32 of the second to re-establish the Hogs three goal lead at 4-1. Terry Harrison and Eric Labelle added third period markers to close the scoring at 6-1. With the win, the Hogs improve to 15-5-2 on the season, the best record in the UHL.  The Mallards hit the road this week for a re-match with the Hogs on Friday in Rockford. The game can be heard on Fox Sports Radio AM 1230. The First Capital Financial Pre-Game Show begins at 6:40 p.m. After the game, stay tuned for the Allstate Insurance Del Newton/Christy Cox Post-Game Show.Â
