The K-Wings will put their franchise record 12 game home-unbeaten streak on the line tonight, as they host the Rockford IceHogs. Both teams are very familiar with one another, as tonight marks the seventh of thirteen meetings between the division rivals. Tonight will be the first of three games between the K-Wings and the Hogs in a seven-day span.

Kalamazoo will a new, but familiar face in the lineup tonight, as Kurt Miller will make is season debut for the K-Wings. The last time Miller played a professional game was last year here in Kalamazoo. The K-Wings are hoping that the addition of Miller can continue the momentum Kalamazoo has created, as the K-Wings have won five of their last six games.

Besides looking to avenge last Sunday's 8-2 lost to Kalamazoo, the Rockford IceHogs will be looking to snap a 3 game losing streak. The IceHogs losing streak ties their longest of the season. Tonight is game four of a five game road swing for Rockford, for will conclude the swing Tuesday night back here in Kalamazoo. Rockford has lost all three games of the stretch; on the season, Rockford is 6-14-2 away from the home.

Home Sweet Home

The K-Wings will be looking to extend their franchise record home unbeaten . Kalamazoo has not lost a home game in regulation at Wings Stadium dating back to November 21, 2003, a span of 12 games.

It's Miller Time

The Kalamazoo Wings have signed forward Kurt Miller to a UHL Player Try Out Agreement. Miller was a member of the K-Wings last season and hasn't played a professional hockey game since last year with Kalamazoo.

Getting His Shots In

K-Wings forward Jeff Turner put up eight shots last night against Missouri. Turner eight shots ties him for the K-Wings season high for shots in a game, it is also the third time this season the Jeff has put up eight shots in a game.

Good at Home

The K-Wings have made the most of their opportunities at home. Entering tonight, the K-Wings are 8-2-5 at Wings Stadium this season.

Can You Hear Me

The Wings Stadium complex will be debuting their new state of the art sound system. The new system will feature speakers in the concourse and 56 speakers in the main bowl of Wings Stadium.

Bowling for Dollars

K-Wings players will be spending part of their Super Bowl Sunday helping the kids at Lakeside Treatment and Learning Center during Lakeside's Bowl-a-Thon. All proceeds from the bowl-a-thon at Continental Lanes will go to benefit the Lakeside Treatment and Learning Center. The bowling has been broken up into two sessions noon-1:30 pm and 2-3:30 pm. Any individuals interested in participating or watching the event can contact Continental Lanes.
