Kalamazoo Wings News Release

The Kalamazoo Wings and the Flint Generals concluded their home and home series tonight at Wings Stadium. The K-Wings defeated the Generals 7-3 last night at the Perani's Hockey World Arena & Event Center in Flint. Andrew Luciuk lead all scorers with a four point effort (2 goals, 2 assists). The seven goals scored by Kalamazoo were the most scored this season by the K-Wings and the most allowed by the Generals.

The K-Wings will be looking to extend their home unbeaten streak to 11 games. If Kalamazoo can extend the streak, they will tie their franchise record home unbeaten streak set back during the 2001-02 season. Besides the unbeaten streak, the K-Wings will also try to extend two other streaks. Kalamazoo enters tonight's game on a two game winning streak. Also, forward Joe Ritson comes into the game on a six game point streak.

Flint will be looking to snap a two game losing streak. The Generals are 5-5-0 in their last night games and start the night tied with the Richmond RiverDogs for first place in the Eastern Conference. Jim Duhart has been on a scoring tear, as the veteran forward as tallied a point in 12 of his last 14 games.

Home Cooking The K-Wings will enter Saturday's games against the Flint Generals trying to extend their home unbeaten streak. Kalamazoo is unbeaten at Wings Stadium in their last 10 games dating back to November 21, 2003. A Kalamazoo victory will tie the franchise record for consecutive games at home without a regulation lost. The record of 11 games was set back during the 2001-02 season.

Not Your Average Joe

Joe Ritson has had no problem producing since coming to Kalamazoo. Ritson is currently on a 6 game scoring streak.
