Prince George Cougars News Release
Prince George, BC- The Cougars invite fans to help us Jam the Stands for Charity during the final regular season game on Saturday, March 17th, 2012. For every group and walk-up ticket sold to the March 17th game between March 6 and March 17th, the Prince George Cougars will donate $2 to Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
"The Cougars are proud to call Prince George home and we work hard to give back to the community through our various community programs and partnerships with non-profit organizations like Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation," said Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. "March 17th will be a great night for fans to enjoy a night out at our game while supporting local healthcare."
"We are thrilled to be partnering with the Prince George Cougars in hosting the first ever Prince George Cougars Alumni/Hospital Pro-Am Golf Tournament this summer and are grateful to also be the recipient of this donation," said Don Gowan, CEO of Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation. "We would like to encourage everyone to attend the game and at the same time to support the community through our Healthcare Foundation."
In addition, that evening adult group tickets will be just $15, including HST- a $5 savings on an adult walk-up ticket. As with every Saturday game kids tickets will be just $5, plus HST, thanks to the Scotiabank Saturdays promotion.
