
Broncos Call up Martin

Swift Current, SK - Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb announced that they have called up Bronco prospect defenceman Brycen Martin.
Martin tallied 16 points (5 goals, 11 assists) in 23 games played with the Calgary Buffaloes of the AMHL this season. He also recently represented Team Canada at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games where he notched five assists in the tournament.
"We are very excited to have Martin join our team for the duration of the season," states Mark Lamb. "His (Martin's) team was beat out of the playoffs, so he was available to join us. He will be a very big asset for our team in the future and we are excited to showcase his abilities in front of our fans at the next two home games."
Martin was selected 2nd overall by the Broncos in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft. He is expected to be in the lineup on Friday when the Broncos play the Prince Albert Raiders at the Art Hauser Centre.
