
Cougars Make Trade With Americans

Prince George, BC - Prince George Cougars General Manager Dallas Thompson announced Monday the Cougars have acquired 18-year old forward Spencer Asuchak from the Tri-City Americans for a 2010 WHL Bantam Draft choice.
Asuchak, who turned 18 on Sunday, stands 6'4" and weighs 210 pounds. The product of Kamloops, BC, has played 50 games in the Western Hockey League, all with the Americans. This season, Asuchak has two goals and two assists for four points in 12 games for Tri-City, with 10 penalty minutes.
Asuchak is expected to be in Prince George on Tuesday and in the line-up for the Cougars next game, Friday, November 27 against the Vancouver Giants at CN Centre in Prince George. The Cougars roster now sits at 24, with 14 forwards, eight defencemen and two goaltenders.
