Blazers trade Nyren to Hitmen

Kamloops, BC - Kamloops Blazers General Manager Craig Bonner announced this morning that the team has traded 20 year old defenseman Giffen Nyren to the Calgary hitmen in exchange for a conditional 6th round bantam draft pick.
"We would like to wish Giffen all the best and thank him for his time with the Blazers."
In 25 games with the Blazers this season, Nyren had 3 goals and 11 assists to go along with 38 penalty minutes.
