GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars' losing streak hit four games on Saturday night after a 9-3 loss against the Great Lakes Loons in front of 9,285 at Elfstrom Stadium. Despite not holding a lead, the Cougars were tied after five innings and trailed by one after six, but the Loons erupted for three runs in the seventh against Mitch Hodge and two more in the eighth against Chase Boruff for the 9-3 final. Jason Adam (3-5) entered the sixth with a chance for his first quality start since June 2 but left with one out in the inning.
