
Cougars Host Royals in Double Weekend Set at CN Centre

PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Tonight, at the CN Centre, the Prince George Cougars continue their four-game home-stand as they battle their division rival Victoria Royals at 7:00 pm. Tonight is Riley Heidt and the first 2,000 fans will receive Riley Heidt posters with 27 of them signed. Heidt will also be acknowledged prior to the game after becoming the franchise's all-time points and assists leader.
The Prince George Cougars began their four-game home-stand with a 5-3 win over the Kamloops Blazers on Sunday afternoon at the CN Centre. Keaton Dowhaniuk, Zac Funk, and Carlin Dezainde led the way for the Cats, combing for seven points in the victory.

DEZZY DELIVERING: Cougars forward and 19-year-old Carlin Dezainde enters tonight's game with points in five consecutive games. Depsite dealing with an injury earlier in the season, the product of Calgary, Alberta is putting together is best WHL season of his career, already scoring 17 times.
UPDATE ON KOEHN?: Cougar forward and Los Angeles Kings prospect Koehn Ziemmer is now 6-8 weeks before returning to game action for the Cougars. Ziemmer suffered a lower body injury in late November against the Everett Silvertips.
