Columbus Cottonmouths News Release

Columbus, GA - The team will visit Columbus Regional Children's Center tomorrow at 1:00. The players have all purchased gifts and will visit with the children that are in the hospital during the holidays. Most of the players are from Canada and will not get the chance to be home for the holidays. Centerman Orrin Hergott was here last season and says "it's like visiting with my little brother back home. Anything we can do to help cheer up the kids for St. Nick is worth it. We have some free time in the afternoons and this will be a great way to spend some of it."

The Columbus Cottonmouths would like to remind all children to bring their letters to Santa to the Cottonmouths game this Thursday night. That's right the big man himself will be at the game and he will drop the first puck to get the game started. The Cottonmouths will host the PeeDee Cyclones and the game starts at 7:30.

A friendly reminder to everyone, that we have rescheduled our Christmas day game. It was originally set for 4:00. It has been changed to 6:00. Gates will be open at 5:00 and the Civic Center box office will open at 1:00. The snakes will be hosting the Huntsville Havoc.
