Corpus Christi FC Announces 2026 Preseason Schedule

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Jan. 23, 2025) - Corpus Christi FC announced today the schedule for the 2026 preseason, ahead of the team's first professional season in USL League One. CCFC's preseason training begins on Jan. 26.

CCFC will play five home matches and two road matches in preparation for the season. The first three matches will be played in Corpus Christi against the Houston Lions on Jan. 31. Houston Christian University will travel down the coast on Feb. 7 followed by the University of Incarnate Word on Feb. 14.

The Sharks will travel for their next two preseason matches; the first in Austin against Austin FC II Feb. 22 and the second in San Antonio vs. San Antonio FC Feb. 28.

CCFC will round out their preseason in Corpus Christi vs. Laredo Heat on March 4 and Southern Methodist University on March 7.

All Corpus Christi FC preseason matches will be closed to the public. The regular season schedule has been released which you can find here.

CCFC will play their first professional season beginning March 14 in USL League One. The Sharks have played in the PDL and USL League Two as a pre-professional team since 2018. The team will be led by Head Coach and Sporting Director Éamon Zayed. Alongside him will be Assistant Coaches Manny Iwabuchi and Jimmy Gamal.
