Corbeil and Miller Recalled to Chicago; Ortmeyer and Testwuide Suspended by Mavericks

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks announced Tuesday goaltender Mathieu Corbeil and forward Kenton Miller have both been recalled to the Mavericks' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves. Missouri also announced forward Jed Ortmeyer and defenseman J.P. Testwuide have both been place on team suspension.

Corbeil and Miller both returned for one game and played in the Mavericks 5-0 win over the Tulsa Oilers on Saturday night. Corbeil stopped all 24 shots he faced and earned his first professional shutout and Miller scored a power play goal.

Ortmeyer and Testwuide were each placed on team suspension as they are both pursuing other options.

The Mavericks head to Tulsa for a game at BOK Center on Friday, February 1. Missouri is back on home ice on Saturday, February 2 against the Quad City Mallards. The first 2,500 fans will received a Mac Build-A-Bear courtesy of Santa Fe Glass.
