Tucson, AZ - Sacramento was able to split the series with Tucson on a 5-1 victory on Thursday night

Sacramento starter Dan Meyer had a great outing, going seven innings allowing one run off of six hits, while striking two batters and walking three to give him his sixth win of the season.

A first inning grand slam by Brooks Conrad gave the River Cats a 4-0 lead and they never looked back. Sacramento added one in the fourth off a Ryan Sweeney double scoring Mike Massaro from first to extend their lead by five.

Tucson got on the scoreboard in the fifth when a Matt Morgan sac bunt moved Donnie Kelly to second and next batter Emilio Bonifacio brought him home off a line drive single.
