
Connor Ungar Signs Entry-Level Deal with Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oil Kings have signed former Moose Jaw Warriors netminder Connor Ungar to a two-year, entry-level contract.
This past season at Brock University, Ungar posted a stellar 20-6-0 record with a 2.15 goals against average and a .932 save percentage, while helping the Badgers to the program's first University Cup tournament appearance.
Ungar won the Clare Drake Trophy for Rookie of the Year and set a Brock University record with 20 wins this season.
Last season with the Warriors, Ungar posted a 26-7-0-3 record with a career-best .925 save percentage and a 2.58 goals against average in 38 games.
In 10 playoff games, Ungar went 6-3-1 with a 2.74 goals against average and a .915 save percentage as he helped the Warriors into the second round.
Ungar will now join former teammate Max Wanner with Edmonton's American Hockey League affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, for the remainder of the season.
