
Connecticut Sun To Host Christmas In July

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (June 30, 2008) - The Connecticut Sun will host "Christmas In July" on Tuesday, July 1st as they take on the Houston Comets at 7 p.m.
The Sun are asking fans to bring a new, unwrapped toy that will be donated to needy children during the holiday season. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to greet fans throughout the game, and the first 4,000 through the doors of Mohegan Sun Arena will receive a Connecticut Sun elf hat.
All toys received at "Christmas in July" will be donated to Kids' Christmas, a non-profit organization that was founded in 1990 by Liz Hall, who took on a second job to make sure no child was overlooked during the holidays. The organization supplies gifts to children in New London County ranging in age from infancy to 15-years-old during the holiday season.
