Connecticut Sun Host 2023 Maternal Health Supply Drive

Uncasville, CT - Today, the Connecticut Sun announced that the organization will be hosting its 2023 Maternal Health Supply Drive.

The Connecticut Sun is dedicated to giving back to its local communities and providing resources to those in need. The Sun believe that maternal health is a leading issue, and as such, it is important to provide access to supplies that will help expecting and current mothers. Building off of the momentum of last year's drive where the Sun collected 700 donation items and raised $2000 that directly benefitted The Diaper Bank of Connecticut; the Sun are encouraging fans to bring supplies for mothers and young children (listed below).

The 2023 Maternal Health Supply Drive will be ongoing through four Connecticut Sun home games: May 30 vs. the Indiana Fever, June 4 vs. the Dallas Wings, and June 6 and June 8 vs. the Las Vegas Aces. Collection bins will be at the Earth and Sky Entrances of Mohegan Sun Arena on the Concourse. All donated supplies will be distributed at the Connecticut Sun's Maternal Health Fair on June 9. Any leftover donations will be given to local Norwich/New London communities.

Postpartum supplies

Baby products (bath, clothes and bottles)

Diapers, Wipes and Formula

Sanitary products
