Multi-Platinum Singer-Songwriter Anita Baker to Perform National Anthem Ahead of Aces Home Opener

LAS VEGAS, NV - Following the Las Vegas Aces 2022 WNBA Championship banner unfurling and ring presentation, multiple Grammy and American Music Awards winner Anita Baker will perform the national anthem at the team's home opener this Saturday, May 27.
Tip against the Los Angeles Sparks is at 6:00 pm, but fans are encouraged to arrive early, as prior to the game, the Aces will receive their 2022 WNBA Championship rings, and unveil their Championship Banner in the rafters of Michelob ULTRA Arena.
On Sunday, the first 7,500 fans in attendance will receive a replica banner to celebrate the city's first major professional sports title. Tickets for both games are available by visiting axs.com.
Baker, whose career was launched in 1987 with the album Rapture, for which she won the Best Female R&B Vocal Performance Grammy, has won a total of eight Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, seven Soul Train Music Awards, and earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from BET in 2018. She has four platinum-selling albums and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994.
