Conexus to Present Warriors Alumni Weekend

Moose Jaw, SK.--- The Moose Jaw Warriors are proud to announce the major sponsor of this year's Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame Weekend is Conexus. Conexus will proudly be the presenting sponsor for the next three years. The Hall of Fame Weekend includes the induction banquet followed by a golf tournament the day after.

The 2010 Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame inductees are Theoren Fleury and Scott Thomas. The Hall of Fame banquet is set for August 20th at the Heritage Inn. The Warriors Hall of Fame Golf Tournament will give fans another opportunity to spend time with Warriors alumni, while also helping raise funds for the Warriors Education Fund. The tournament will be held at the Lynbrook Golf Course on Saturday August 21st.

The Hall of Fame weekend, while honoring past Warrior's "Legends" presents an opportunity to raise funds for the Warriors Education Fund. The Warriors Education Fund directly allows Moose Jaw Warriors to take advantage of a WHL scholarship.For every season a player plays in the WHL, they receive a full guaranteed Scholarship to a post secondary institution of their choice.Since 1993, the WHL clubs have provided close to 3000 scholarships and a $9 million dollar investmentmaking the WHL the leading provider of hockey scholarships in Western Canada. The scholarship allows grads to pursue a post secondary education along with the opportunity to continue playing hockey at an elite level in the Canadian University or College system.

Tickets to the Hall of Fame Banquet are $60 each or a table for $480.00 and available at the Moose Jaw Warriors downtown office (422 Main Street North) or by calling 694-5711. Spots are available in the golf tournament for only $150.00 per person or $500 for a group of four.
