SERIES HISTORY:
Tonight is Game 3 of the 2006-2007 National Conference Semifinals between Bakersfield and Alaska. The Aces lead the series 2-0 after a pair of wins in Anchorage earlier this week. Game 1 was all Aces, as they scored twice in each period and Derek Gustafson stopped all 29 shots en route to a 6-0 win. Game 2 was a different story, as the Condors led 1-0 on Josh Liebenow's goal late in the first, and seemingly had control of the play. But the Aces scored three straight times to take a 3-1 lead in the third, and despite Reagan Leslie's brilliant solo rush to pull the Condors within 3-2 late, Bakersfield fell to Alaska again.
Promotional Notes:
For tonight's Game 3, all fans in attendance will receive a pair of Condors cheer stix. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Condors will host Game 4 and first 2,000 fans will receive a Condors mug. Doors open at 7 p.m., puck drops at 8 p.m. (Puck drop may actually be a little later due to change over from 1 p.m. event in arena.)
