Bakersfield Condors News Release
The Condors 8th Annual Open House & Family Day is this Saturday! With training camp underway come be one of the first fans to meet the new players and watch your 2009-10 Condors take to the ice for a scrimmage. It's a great opportunity for both the players and fans to meet each other, especially this season with a number of new faces on the team...
The Condors will be on the ice from 2-3:30 p.m., and will be followed by the public skate, from 4-5 p.m. at the Ice Sports Center, located just south of Rabobank Arena. Bring your own skates to the event or rent skates for $3. A limited number of rentals are available. The annual event is open to the public, and free for anyone who brings two non-perishable food items. All the food collected will be donated to the Kern County Food Bank. Nearly 18,000 pounds of food have been collected through the previous seven years of the Open House. Free parking is located in the Ice Sports Center parking lot.
The 2009-10 season opens in just 16 days, when the Condors host the Ontario Reign on Oct. 16. Season Tickets and mini-plans, starting at just $42, are on sale now. Fans can make Condors season tickets even more affordable by using Extended AutoPay, which is a program that allows you to spread your payments out through February, 2010. Purchase discounted tickets when you bring a group of 20 or more out to a Condors game. Stop by the Condors Ticket information Table while at the Open House to choose from the best available locations or call 324-PUCK (7825) and speak to one of our account managers.
