Condors Invite Fans to Pick Six

The countdown is on for the Condors 2004-05 ECHL season, which starts in less than six weeks on Friday, October 22nd at Centennial Garden against the Victoria Salmon Kings. That night, everyone in attendance will receive a 2004-05 magnet schedule. The magnets will help kick off a complete schedule of giveaways, appearances and promotions that will run the entire 36-game course of the Condors home schedule. A unique approach to purchasing tickets this season has developed with the "Pick Six" plans. The plan offers fans a selection of 10 games throughout the season to choose from, allowing them to select six games of their choice from the list.
Opening weekend includes two games that are on the Pick Six list, including Opening Night and continuing with a visit from Bakersfield favorites, the ZOOperstars on October 23rd. Other "Pick Six" games include the famous Teddy Bear Toss, which has garnered national recognition for its charitable results, on November 27th. One lucky fan will have the chance to win a Personal Makeover Giveaway on Saturday, January 15th. The only Bobblehead Night this season is among the choices on January 28th.
Saturday, February 26th marks the return of SpongeBob Squarepants to Centennial Garden. The ZOOperstars are too popular to have come just once per season, so they'll make their second appearance on Friday, March 11th. The three remaining games on the "Pick Six" list include Youth Jersey Giveaway on Saturday, March 26th, the debut of Mr. Potato Head Giveaway with hockey accessories on Friday, April 1st and Home Makeover Giveaway on Saturday, April 9th.
"We're happy to present the "Pick Six" plans because they're so flexible," said Condors President Matthew Riley. "Fans can customize their own plan according to their schedule, and really pick the games that appeal to them the most. We have a great mix of new events and classic promotions to choose from."
To sign up for the "Pick Six" and select your games, contact the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825) and ask to speak with a ticket representative. Listed below are the ten games to choose from. The full promotional schedule will be announced at a later date. The Bakersfield Condors season opens in 35 days at home on October 22nd against the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings.
