Condors host Stockton in preseason action this Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors will take the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena this Saturday as they host the Stockton Thunder. Doors open at 6 p.m., the puck drops at 7 p.m.

At Saturday's preseason match-up, Condors posters and other items will be handed out at the arena gates on a first-come, first-served basis, courtesy of ESPN Radio 1230 and the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center. Saturday's game wraps up the preseason schedule for the Condors after a game in Stockton on Thursday.

Tickets for Saturday's game are currently on sale with a special price of $10 for lower bowl seating and $5 for the upper bowl. Individual tickets for regular season games go on sale Saturday as well. The Rabobank Arena Box Office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.

Opening Night for the Condors is Friday, Oct. 16, when they take on the Ontario Reign. Everyone in attendance on Opening Night will receive a Condors magnet schedule, courtesy of ESPN Radio 1230 and American Business Machines. Before the game, fans are invited to a party on the plaza with the Anaheim Ducks mascot Wild Wing, the Ducks Power Players and Street Team, inflatable games, street hockey and more, beginning at 5 p.m and going right up until game time.

Season ticket plan holders and Kids Club members can pick up their season ticket books at the Condors office, located next to the Rabobank Arena box office. The Condors office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Tickets can also be picked up at the Condors office this Saturday up until game time.

The 2009-10 season opens in just 10 days, when the Condors host the Ontario Reign on Oct. 16. Season Ticket and mini-plans, starting at just $42, are on sale now. Fans can make Condors season tickets even more affordable by using Extended AutoPay, which is a program that allows you to spread your payments out through February, 2010.
