Condors G Yutaka Fukufuji was sharp in the period, making 19 saves and keeping it a one-goal game through 20 minutes. Bakersfield rebounded in the second with a strong defensive effort, and eventually tied the game with a power play marker. F Andrew Ianiero notched his second of the playoffs at 13:13 to make it 1-1. But the Salmon Kings bounced right back and scored twice in the final minutes of the period. D Dylan Yeo (at 18:20) and LW Darryl Lloyd (at 19:33) regained the lead and pushed it to 3-1 after 40 minutes. Victoria managed just five shots on goal in the period.

The Condors tried to open things up and force the issue in the third, but were denied time and again by Victoria G Billy Thompson. Fukufuji stopped two breakaways early in the third to keep the Condors chances alive, and stopped a Salmon Kings penalty shot in the final minute as well. The Salmon Kings added another goal late to bring the final score to 4-1.
