
Condors Attend School Carnivals, and Special Olympics

Upcoming week of May 5th - May 11th:
· Friday, May 9th - Cal, the Baby Condor, Condors staff, and the Condors Slapshot will be at the Endeavor Elementary School Carnival today from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Endeavor Elementary School is located at 9300 Meacham Road.
· Friday, May 9th - Cal, the Baby Condor and Condors players will be at the Wingland Elementary School Carnival from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Wingland Elementary School is located at 701 Douglas Street.
· Saturday, May 10th - Cal, the Baby Condor will be visiting the Tour of Homes sponsored by the Kern County Family Care Association from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. This year's event will be held at the Four Points Sheraton and gives families the opportunity to see what types of in-home daycare are available in Kern County. The Four Points Sheraton is located at 5101 California Avenue.
· Saturday, May 10th - Cal, the Baby Condor and Condors Director of Group Sales & In-Game Promotions, Greg May will be joining the Kern County Special Olympics "Kern County Big - Little Event" at 12:00 pm. The event pits Special Olympic athletes of Kern County against athletes from Orange and Los Angeles Counties. The swim meet will be held at the North High School located at 300 Galaxy Avenue.
Week in Review:
· Monday, April 28th - Condors Director of Corporate Partnerships, Michael Miller and Condors Director of Group Sales & In-Game Promotions, Greg May participated in the fourth annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's "Golf for a Cure" Golf Tournament at Seven Oaks Country Club. The Condors also donated a 2002-2003 team signed stick as well as a team signed jersey to help with the auction. The event raised over $43,000 for JDRF.
· Saturday, May 3rd - The Condors linked up with Team KLLY 95.3 at the 11th Annual Relay for Life. Cal, the Baby Condor and Condors Director of Community Relations John Ayre took to the track from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. The event ran from 9:00 am Saturday, May 3rd until 9:00 am Sunday, May 4th.

This month's Internet auction is your chance hit the links with Head Coach Paul Kelly and a Condors player (subject to availability), included are greens fees, cart, lunch and a Condors golf shirt! · Condors 2003-2004 season tickets are now available with packages starting at just $48. Stop by the Condors office at Centennial Garden or call the Condors at 324-PUCK (7825) for more information.
· The Condors official retail outlet, the Condors Closet, is now operating on summer hours. It is open Monday through Friday, from 11:00 am until 5:30 pm. The "Spring Sale" is still going on, giving a 20% discount on all Condors golf polos and assorted sweatshirts. The Condors Closet is located at 1022 Truxtun Avenue, across from Centennial Garden.
