Condors Announce 2007 Kelly Cup Playoff Roster

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors have announced their 2007 Kelly Cup Playoffs roster. The full roster includes 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. The ECHL allows for a maximum of 20 players on the active roster and room for three players on the injured reserve (one each on the 3-day, 7-day and 30-day IR).

The Condors are led by their captain Sean Venedam, who topped the team with 74 points (27g, 47a), Brett Lutes, who notched a team-high 34 goals, and Jamie Hodson who registered career-best 29 wins including, three shutouts. The third-seeded Condors will open their quest for the 2007 title against the sixth-seed Fresno Falcons tonight at The Nest.

The full roster is as follows:

FORWARDS (13): Alexandre Bolduc, Scott Borders (7-IR), Rane Carnegie, Steven Gillen, Todd Griffith (30-IR), Mike Hofstrand, Andrew Ianiero, Tyler Liebel, Josh Liebenow, Brett Lutes, Alex Rogosheske, Kevin St. Jacques and Sean Venedam

DEFENSEMEN (8): David Kudelka, Jay Langager (3-IR), Reagan Leslie, Steve Rodberg, Tyler Scott, Kevin Truelson, Kam White and Sheldon Wing

GOALTENDERS (2): Jamie Hodson and Rejean Beauchemin

The Kelly Cup Playoffs begin TONIGHT with Game One of the first round at 7 p.m. at The Nest, with Blackout Rally Towel Giveaway. All fans will receive a Condors rally towel, thanks to KGET-TV 17 and Goodwill Industries, and are encouraged to wear black to BLACKOUT the Fresno Falcons. Game Two will be Thursday at Fresno at 7:30 p.m. and Game Three will be back at The Nest Friday at 7 p.m., featuring a Goalie Mask Giveaway.

Playoff tickets are now available to the public and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, by phone at 322-2525 or at any Ticketmaster location. Season tickets for 2007-08 are also available at the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Avenue or by calling 324-PUCK (7825).
