Comets Sign Forward Max French to Ato

Utica, NY - Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher has announced that the club has signed forward Max French to an amateur tryout contract.

French, 24, recently completed his senior season at Bentley University playing in 38 games ranking first on the team in assists (22) and points (39). Following the regular season, he was named to the NCAA (AHA) First All-Star for the second consecutive season. Last season, French led the team in goals (23) and points (47).

A native of West Kelowna, British Columbia, French amassed 143 points (67-76-143) in 138 career collegiate games at Bentley University.

The Comets faceoff against the Syracuse Crunch tonight at The AUD at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcasted live on 94.9 KROCK and viewed on AHL Live. For tickets, visit the fan ticket exchange website, StubHub!.
