Peterborough Petes' J.R. Avon battles Marcus Vandenberg and Hunter Brzustewicz of the Kitchener Rangers

(Peterborough, ON) On Thursday, December 8th the Petes hosted the Kitchener Rangers for the first time since 2019. Despite scoring three straight goals, the Petes comeback attempt fell short and the Rangers took the game by a score of 4-3.
Tucker Robertson led the way for the Petes with a goal and an assist. Jack Van Volsen and Chase Stillman each added a goal, while Brennan Othmann had two assists. J.R. Avon, Jonathan Melee, and Donovan McCoy all had an assist. Michael Simpson stopped 28/32 in the loss.
