Green Bay Rockers News Release

Green Bay, Wis. - It's Jeremiah's 10th birthday and the Bullfrogs are having a party for the beloved bull frog. All of Jeremiahs friends will be in attendance to celebrate this wonderful day. Fans who bring a new toy to donate will receive a ticket to a future Bullfrogs game.

Last night the Bullfrogs pulled out a great win against the North Division leaders, the Eau Claire Express. The win gave the Bullfrogs their 10th win of the season and ended a two game skid. The Bullfrogs are back in action tonight as they look for a sweep of the Express.

The Bullfrogs got a quality start out of Chad Mabini (Western Carolina) as he went six strong innings allowing two runs on six hits. Jonah Davis (UC-Berkeley) stayed hot at the plate as he crushed his second home run in as many days. The outfielder sent a two run shot over the right field fence to give the Bullfrogs a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the third, a lead they would not relinquish.

BJ Sabol (Indiana) earned his first save of the season as he struck out the side in the ninth. Austin Clemons (Louisville) finished with a team leading three hits in the ballgame. Parker Coss (UC-Irvine) and Matt Hoeg (Iowa Western CC) both had one RBI.

Tonight the Bullfrogs give the ball to Stuart Springer (St. Edwards). In three starts this season, Springer has thrown 16.1 innings and allowed ten runs on 24 hits. Springer is looking for his first win of the season. Aaron Shortridge (California) will be making his five start of the season. He has four wins and a 2.07 ERA.

First pitch is at 7:05pm.
