Columbus Recalls Motzko

Syracuse, NY (December 9, 2005) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled right wing Joe Motzko.
Motzko, 25, has appeared in 17 games with Syracuse this season, recording 3 goals, 11 assists and 12 penalty minutes. In 168 career AHL games, all with Syracuse, Motzko has tallied 48 goals, 73 assists and 122 penalty minutes. He has appeared in two games with Columbus, making his debut on February 2, 2004 @ Phoenix. A native of Bemidji, Minnesota, Motzko was signed as a free agent by Columbus on May 15, 2003.
The Crunch travel to Hamilton on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. Crunch action can be heard with play-by-play announcer on SportsRadio 620 WHEN or through B2 Networks on the Crunch's website at www.syracusecrunch.com.
