Colts To Draw One Millionth Fan Tomorrow Night

San Angelo, Texas - If you thought Opening Night was a huge draw, just wait until tomorrow.
The San Angelo Colts will have one of the great nights in its history on Thursday, June 10 when the team draws its 1,000,000th fan to Foster Field. In addition, the team will also unveil its new video scoreboard.
The Colts sit just 2,305 fans away from reaching the one million mark. With the presentation of the scoreboard and a typical Thirsty Thursday to boot, the Colts expect to easily reach the mark tomorrow night.
"It is quite an accomplishment for an independent league team to reach its one millionth fan", says Colts General Manager Mike Babcock. "This is a feat that could not be achieved without the support of a strong business community and dedicated fan base. San Angelo has proven itself to be one of the top independent league markets in the United States".
Babcock, who has seen the Colts draw at least 100,000 fans in each of his three full seasons with the team, has an extensive prize package ready for the lucky fan who passes through Foster Field's gates tomorrow. The fan's entrance into the stadium will be captured on the brand new 1st Community Federal Credit Union Jumbo-Vision Scoreboard.
In addition, the fan will receive Colts season tickets as well as gifts from Spring Hill Suites, Lone Star Lube, Sealy Flats, Olive Garden, Comet Cleaners, Chili's, Roosters Chicken N Fixins, Milagro's Wine & Spirits, Premier Dojo, Town & Country Car Wash, Gold's Gym, Domino's Pizza, Baker Street Coffee House, Whataburger, and Area Wide Phone Book.
The 1,000,000th fan comes in the team's 11th season at Foster Field.
Tickets to the game still remain and can be purchased by calling (325) 942-6587. Gates to Thursday's 7:05 start will open at 6:05.
