San Angelo, Texas---Knotted at three, San Angelo (37-18) pushed across three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to nab their first win of the series atop the Laredo Broncos (21-34). In front of 3,672 fans, the Colts enjoyed a 6-3 victory to snap a three game skid.
In the bottom of the second inning, the control of Broncos starter Gustavo Vasquez would waiver. After walking the bases loaded, Hank Lanto delivered a two out single scoring two. San Angelo moved ahead 2-0.
In the third inning, Josh Collazo connected on his third homer of the year, it was a solo shot to left field that gave the Colts a 3-0 lead.
After walks to Luis Ugueto and Mario Mendez in the top of the third inning, Ezequiel Astacio found himself in a jam for the first time. An RBI single off the bat of Jake Wells cut the Colts to lead to two. A wild pitch from Astacio scored another. At the end of five innings, San Angelo led the way 3-2.
The Broncos fought their way back in the seventh inning. With one away, Mario Mendez doubled. Two batters later, Luany Sanchez drove a triple to the gap scoring Mendez, tying the game at three.

After Hunter Jobes walked to reload the bags, Mahin sent two home with a single. That finished off the scoring for the Colts.
Chace Vacek shut the door in the ninth with two strikeouts and a pop out to end the contest. The Colts took game three 6-3. San Angelo trails in the series two games to one.
