San Angelo Colts News Release

San Angelo, Texas --- The San Angelo Colts announced Tuesday they have re-signed infielder K.C. Judge and released rookie pitchers Ryan Hanna and Chris Peacock.

Judge was initially signed by the Colts on March 19, but then traded to the Abilene Prairie Dogs on May 29 in exchange for future considerations. The Prairie Dogs were going to send Judge to the White Sands Pup Fish of the semi-pro Pecos League, but Colts' Manager Doc Edwards chose to retain his rights.

Judge played in one game for San Angelo before getting traded to Abilene. He has a combined .273 average in four games between the two clubs.

In order to make room for Judge on the roster, the Colts have cut ties with righties Hanna and Peacock.

Hanna went 1-0 with a 3.75 earned-run average in three games and one start. He also struck out 11 batters while walking three. Peacock began the season in Abilene, and went 0-2 with a 12.15 earned-run average in four games and one start combined between the Colts and Prairie Dogs.

The Colts next home game is Saturday, June 9 at 7:05 p.m. against the Abilene Prairie Dogs. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Colts' t-shirt, courtesy of 1st Community Federal Credit Union.

The San Angelo Colts are a member of United League Baseball who are in their 13th season. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the Colts' front office at Foster Field.
