The Barrie Colts are proud to announce the signing of 2024 sixth-round selection, Arvin Jaswal to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
The 6.01 and 156lb goalie from Pickering, ON was selected by the Colts 114th overall in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Jaswal played his U16 year for the Whitby Wildcats U16 program, earning a 2.05 GAA across 25 games. In those games, he registered one shutout.
"Arvin is someone who we're really excited about his future. He had a strong development camp in the spring and made it clear that he put the work in during the summer. His competitiveness and athleticism are two attributes that stuck out to me during camp. While being the youngest, we feel Arvin adds another strong layer to our group of goaltenders and we're excited to get to work with him." Commented Director of Goaltending, David Belitski.
