The Colts, however, would respond with two runs in the bottom-half on a two-run double by first-baseman Josh Collazo to tie the game.

The Thunder would came back with three solo homers to take control of the game.

San Angelo would get two runs back in the fifth on a titanic two-run blast by leftfielder Jason Crosland (14) to pull the Colts to within one.

Things stayed that way until the ninth when the Thunder would plate a run on a two-base throwing error by starting pitcher Brian Henschel to take a 6-4 lead.

San Angelo would then put runners at second and third with two-out in the ninth, but closer J.J. Trujillo got second-baseman Mark Ramos to ground out to second and end the game.

In addition to the homers, centerfielder Dustin Smith went 2-4 with two singles and a stolen base while leftfielder Lamar Guy went 2-4 with a double and run.

In addition to Crosland, catcher Trey Carter had a good game in his return from injury going 2-4 with a single and double.

Henschel (4-5) took the loss for San Angelo despite going eight innings and allowing six runs on nine hits with no walks and six strikeouts.

The save was Trujillo's fourth of the season.
