Colts Announce Details for Valentine's Day Game vs. Sudbury Wolves

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts today announced the details pertaining to their Valentine's Day Game taking place at the Barrie Molson Centre against the Sudbury Wolves Thursday February 14, 2008 (7:30 p.m.).

The team will host a silent pink stick auction in front of the Coltsport Store, with bidding available throughout the course of the game. It will close at the end of the second period in the Colts' Saturday home game against the Kingston Frontenacs (7:30 p.m.). All of the proceeds from this auction will go towards Cancer Treatment and Research.

Throughout the game in the concourse area, free face-painting will be available for kids, and special chocolate giveaways and promotions with the Valentine's theme will be performed.

The Colts will host the Sudbury Wolves on Valentine's Day, as the Wolves and Colts face each other more than any other opponent during the season; eight times. The Colts currently lead the season series with a 5-0 record against the Wolves, which includes two shootout victories. The latest victory the Colts defeated the Wolves 3-2 in a shootout back on January 4 in Sudbury.
