
Colorado's Olsen Named Inglasco/ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Ryan Olsen of the Colorado Eagles is the Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week for April 2-8.
Olsen scored four goals and added an assist for five points in three games last week.
The 24-year-old scored two goals in a 5-2 win against Utah on?Wednesday and in a 7-4 victory over Wichita on?Friday before adding an assist in a 5-1 win against the Thunder on Saturday.
A native of Delta, British Columbia, Olsen tallied 51 points (26g-25a) in 57 games this season with Colorado and Utah while adding two points (1g-1a) in four games with Znojmo Orli HC in Austria.
Olsen has appeared in 181 career American Hockey League games with St. John's and Manitoba, totaling 29 points (17g-12a).
Prior to turning pro, Olsen recorded 166 points (84g-82a) in 275 career games in the Western Hockey League with Saskatoon and Kelowna.
On behalf of Ryan Olsen, a case of pucks will be donated to a Colorado youth hockey organization by Inglasco, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Inglasco has donated more than 37,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
