Colorado Rapids Announce 2021 Preseason Game Schedule

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - The Colorado Rapids have announced their preseason schedule ahead of the 2021 Major League Soccer season, which kicks off on Saturday, April 17. The team will hold preseason camp in Tucson, Ariz., from March 8 to April 11.

Rapids players reported to DICK'S Sporting Goods Park on Feb. 22 for COVID-19 testing and to begin a seven-day quarantine period, as well as voluntary individual training. The team held its first full training session on March 1 before traveling to Tucson on March 8. While in Arizona, the Rapids will play six preseason friendlies, including the Visit Tucson Sun Cup hosted by FC Tucson, against Portland Timbers (March 16), Sporting Kansas City (March 20), Real Salt Lake (April 3) and LA Galaxy (April 7), as well as USL Championship clubs New Mexico United (March 27) and Phoenix Rising FC (March 16 and April 10).
