DENVER, Colo. -- The Colorado Crush and Holland & Hart LLP announce a new program, The BIG Picture, that provides underprivileged children with the opportunity to visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and watch an IMAX film.
Each month during the 2004 season, the Colorado Crush, Holland & Hart LLP and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will host a group of elementary or middle school students at the museum with roundtrip transportation provided by Arrow Stage Lines. On select visits, the students will be accompanied by a Colorado Crush player.
The first The Big Picture event of the season will be held Wednesday, March 17, when students from Cheltenham Elementary School will be attending the 12:00 p.m. showing of "Coral Reef Adventure" at the IMAX Theater. After the show, the students will tour the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, accompanied by Crush wide receiver/defensive back Nate Jacquet.
"Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to support the Colorado Crush Charities in their efforts to encourage the 3 R's in Denver Public Schools," said Mark Beese, Marketing Director for Holland & Hart LLP. We are grateful to Kroenke Sports to their commitment to local schools and are proud to partner with them to help kids in the classroom."
Ronald O. Sally, Colorado Crush president, added "The BIG Picture is a fun, exciting, and inspiring opportunity to expose kids to one of Denver's true treasures."
