
Collins recalled to Cincinnati

[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] - The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that goaltender Chad Collins has been recalled to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). He is the third player called up from the club this season joining forwards Bryan Dobek and Jarrett Robertson.
Collins, a 5'8'', 160 pound goaltender from Guelph, Ontario leaves the FireAntz as the franchise all-time leader amongst goaltenders in victories (40), shutouts (6), and games played (70). He was also the 2004-05 SPHL Rookie of the Year, Goalie of the Year, and 1st team all-star.
The Cyclones play four games in the next five nights and three consecutive games next week. Collins is expected to return the following week.
