College Park, Georgia. - The College Park Skyhawks (4-1) extended their winning streak to a season-long four straight games, including two consecutive wins over Raptors 905 (1-4), with a 105-101 victory tonight at Gateway Center Arena. Tonight marked the Skyhawks' fourth win over 905 this season, sweeping the Raptors 4-0.
College Park forward Chris Silva notched his 10th game of the season with 20+ points, pouring in 23 points on 6-11 from the field (.545 FG%), in addition to nine rebounds, two assists and one block in 36 minutes.
Miles Norris and Jarkel Joiner both posted career nights, with Joiner netting a career-high 15 points on 4-8 FGM off the bench, and Norris swiping a career-high tying three steals and rejecting a career-high three shots.
Trey McGowens, signed by the Skyhawks on a roster hardship exception, posted a career-high 24 points off the bench behind a career-high four triples (4-6 3FGM), tallying six assists, five rebounds, two steals and one block in 36 minutes.
The College Park bench of Trey McGowens (24), Jarkel Joiner (15) and Devon Higgs (6) combined for 45 bench points to 905's 15 (+30), the highest bench point differential since Mar. 9, 2023, against the G League Ignite (+38).
The +30-point differential marked the fifth largest positive point differential in College Park history.
After being down by as many as 10 points, Trey McGowens hit a layup at the 8:03 mark of the fourth quarter to take the first College Park lead since the 2:26 mark of the second quarter. The Skyhawks took the fourth quarter 29-21 to finish the game.
Raptors 905 was led for the second straight night by two-way player Javon Freeman-Liberty, registering his second double-double in a row behind 22 points and 13 rebounds. Justise Winslow also posted a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double.
The Skyhawks remain at home on Wednesday, Jan. 10 against the Delaware Blue Coats for the last of a three-game home stand, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. Fans can visit cpskyhawks.com to secure their seats now.
