Cole Reschny Named Kal Tire WHL Rookie of the Week

Victoria, BC - The Western Hockey League announced today that Cole Reschny has been named Kal Tire WHL Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 3, 2024.

Reschny led all rookies with three goals and two assists for five points in two games as Victoria went 1-0-1-0 for the week.

Reschny tallied one goal and two assists for three points in the Royals' 6-4 victory over the Tri-City Americans on Friday night. He followed up the performance with 2 goals against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday night.

Reschny is currently sixth in scoring among rookies with 20 goals and 32 assists for 52 points in 54 games and holds the Royals franchise record for points by a 16-year-old.

Selected by Victoria in the first round, third overall in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft, Reschny is eligible for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
