
Cocopah Casino Named Presenting Sponsor

The Yuma Scorpions are pleased to announce that Cocopah Casino has stepped up to the plate as the 2011 season 'Presenting Sponsor' for the team.
Cocopah Resort and Conference Center will be the official hotel for visiting dignitaries and celebrities. The Cocopah business enterprises will be involved in mid-inning promotions at Desert Sun Stadium and integrated into all Scorpion marketing and community activities. The Scorpions will benefit with financial support and additional services from Cocopah Casino and the Resort and Conference Center. Cocopah Casino and the Scorpions will be scheduling "After Hours with Jose Canseco." The Scorpion's manager will be appearing at the casino in a casual environment to talk with fans, sign autographs and enjoy the casino as he celebrates another Yuma win.
On Monday, May 23rd, a press conference is scheduled for 3 P.M. at the Cocopah Casino River Room to announce this agreement and also to introduce the players of the 2011 Yuma Scorpions. This year's roster will contain a record five Scorpions with major league experience as the Canseco brothers are building a veteran team to go after the North American League championship.
