Jose Canseco's Yuma Scorpions will take on former San Diego Padre Rudy Seanez' San Diego Surf Dawgs on August 31st at Desert Sun Stadium to bid farewell to the 2011 season

(Yuma, AZ - August 24th, 2011) The Yuma Scorpions announced today that they have added an exhibition game to their schedule on Wednesday, August 31st to give their fans in Yuma one last chance to see the 2011 team. In what will be his final game of 2011, Jose Canseco will take to the diamond to face the San Diego Surf Dawgs, former rivals of the Yuma Scorpions in the Golden Baseball League.

The San Diego Surf Dawgs will be managed by former Major League pitcher Rudy Seanez. Seanez appeared in over 500 MLB games, including many in San Diego where he pitched for the Padres. He owns a 41-30 career record and a career ERA of 4.10. The Surf Dawgs' roster will consist of local players, all with professional experience.

First pitch is at 7:00 PM. All tickets for the exhibition game will be $5 and are available at the Scorpions offices at Desert Sun Stadium. Season ticket holders can attend the game free of charge. All seating is general admission and all concession items will be just $2, including beer. Don't miss your last chance to see Jose Canseco and the Yuma Scorpions in 2011!
