Capitals Announce Playoff Schedule

Edmonton, AB - Playoff baseball returns to Edmonton next week and it's another classic Battle of Alberta that will heat things up down at the ballpark. The provincial rival Edmonton Capitals and Calgary Vipers are set to square off in the 2011 North American League North Division Championship Series. The best-of-seven NDCS schedule is as follows:
Game 1 - Tuesday, August 30 - 7 p.m. TELUS Field
Game 2 - Wednesday, August 31 - 7 p.m. TELUS Field
Game 3 - Thursday, September 1 - 6:30 p.m. Foothills Stadium
Game 4 - Friday, September 2 - 6:30 p.m. Foothills Stadium
*Game 5 - Saturday, September 3 - 2 p.m. Foothills Stadium
*Game 6 - Sunday, September 4 - 2 p.m. TELUS Field
*Game 7 - Tuesday, September 6 - Regular season division winner hosts
(*if necessary)
The winner of the NDCS will advance to the North American League Championship against the South Division winner, either the San Angelo Colts or Rio Grande Valley White Wings. The North winner will host the entire series, which is scheduled for September 8-15.
Tickets to all Caps NDCS home games start at $10 in advance and will be available through Ticketmaster starting Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m.
