
Cobras Sign WR Trevante Long

Carolina Cobras News Release
The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of WR Trevante Long for the 2020 season.
Trevante Long (6' 2" 215, Shaw University) after a red-shirt year at NC A&T and a transfer he was a three year starter at Shaw and after graduating left as the school all-time record holder for receptions (146), second in yards (1,544) and is the only player in Shaw history to have a catch in every game he played in. In his first year playing arena football last season with the Carolina Havoc, he had over 50 receptions and 12 TDs to lead the team. Long's message to Cobra Nation, "I'm ready to win a championship, I never have, and it would be wonderful to do it in Greensboro. There is already a winning culture there because of the Aggies and now the Cobras."
Coach Resignalo said, "Tre is a great athlete with a lot of potential. He had a great college career at Shaw. He is the third WR from Shaw that I have had the pleasure of coaching. Another Shaw standout WR Julius Gregory is with us as well. So I have had success with players from Shaw, we are excited to have Tre on board for his second season as a pro."
