Cobras Sign DL Daventa Adams
September 29, 2020 - National Arena League (NAL)
Carolina Cobras News Release
Daventa Adams (6' 3" 253, Livingstone College) will be making his professional debut with the Cobras in 2021, but he is no stranger to making a splash no matter where he is playing. At Livingstone College he was athree-year player and won Defensive Player of the year for the school in 2018 with 10 sacks (which lead the CIAA), 14 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles and recoveries.
Adams' message to Cobra Nation was simple "I'm young and I'm hungry and I am ready to work!"
Coach Resignalo said, "Adams is going to be a great asset adding him to the DL. He has a great motor and can definitely get to the QB. He will be a great addition to another great Cobras defense. We've been at the top of most of the categories on defense the last 2 seasons. We don't plan to drop from that one bit and Adams will help us maintain that."
