
Coach's show begins tonight

The Corpus Christi Rayz Coach's Show will begin its new season tonight from 7-8pm, live from Beamer's Restaurant at 5922 S. Staples in between Holly and Wooldridge. Rayz fans are encouraged to come see the show live. The show will air on the Rayz flagship radio station, 103.7FM KOUL. Rayz play by play broadcaster Josh Bogorad will host the show along with Head Coach Ken McRae and a guest player each week. Tonight's guest will be Rayz veteran center Randy Murphy.
The Corpus Christi Rayz Coach's Show - Live From Beamer's will offer fans an in depth look into the week in Rayz hockey and the upcoming schedule ahead. It is also a chance for fans to connect to their favorite players away from the ice. Fans are encouraged to not only attend the show live, but participate as well.
Anybody at Beamer's during the show will have the opportunity to contribute to the show by asking their questions live on the air. Fans can also submit their questions via e-mail to the Rayz at question@ccrayz.com. At each Coach's show the Rayz will conduct giveaways consisting of tickets to upcoming games, or Rayz merchandise. All Rayz players and Coach McRae will be available for autographs following each Coach's Show.
Beamer's offers an ideal setting to this season's Coach's Show. Beamer's will offer 25 cent wings on Monday nights an offer guests the opportunity to watch Monday Night Football on a 100 inch big screen TV. With a full bar and extensive menu choices, anyone who comes to the Coach's Show will have plenty of food and beverage options. There is also a patio area in the restaurant, which offers an additional bar and smoking is available. Additionally, throughout the season, Beamer's will conduct discounts on menu items during the Rayz Coach's Show.

The Corpus Christi Rayz opened up the 2005-2006 season in fine fashion with a pair of wins over the Austin Ice Bats. The Rayz will return to the ice on Sunday afternoon at 5:00pm for the first Caller-Times Family Day Game of the season. Fans can receive two free children tickets with the purchase of every adult priced ticket.
